The once a year, week long firing is exciting, exhilarating, and
exhausting; always a community event! It's compelling power pulls in
professional ceramic artists, friends and neighbors, who come to work,
help or bring or cook food! (we eat well!) The firing begins with a
match, a toast and a great relief having gotten all the work into the
kiln!
